EMS Week 2009

Join Cooperstown EMS as we celebrate EMS Week 2009!

History

Created in 1973 by the American College of Emergency Physicians, EMS Week is a national effort to showcase local Emergency Medical Services and their staff.  Our volunteers are on duty every day, protecting their neighbors and assisting them when emergencies strike.

Local events include:

Otsego County EMS Dinner on 5/15 in Hartwick Seminary - EMS providers gather for a fun evening of friendship, good food and awards.

EMS Outreach events at Cooperstown Elementary - EMS crews will visit local classrooms, offer ambulance tours and provide education on what we do.

EMS Member Appreciation - Members of Cooperstown EMS have received new EMS polo shirts as a thank you for their hard work.  EMS Week Committee members will also be spreading good cheer during the week.

Recruiting

EMS Week in Cooperstown is all about volunteers - that's how do what we do.  To help us in our efforts, consider volunteering your time, or supporting us financially.
